Breakfast Meeting - Guest Speaker: Dorian Dugmore, "Health for CEOs"

Background
The Academy's purpose is to "inspire leaders" and our vision is to "create a community of leaders learning with leaders". A new Academy group covering the Bedford, Stevenage and Milton Keynes area will be launched this Autumn. A breakfast meeting has been planned to introduce ourselves and explain:-

1. How The Academy works
2. What members are looking for from The Academy
3. What The Academy is looking for from its members

Date and Venue:
We look forward to welcoming you to the breakfast meeting on Friday 13 February 2009 at 08.00 at the National Codes Centre, The Mansion, Bletchley Park, Milton Keynes, MK3 6EB.

Timings and Format:
We will start with a light breakfast at 08.00, followed by a short but representative "Speaker Session" from one of our top speakers, Dorian Dugmore who will discuss "Health for CEOs". Wellness International was founded in 1997 by Dr. Dorian Dugmore when he joined forces with Adidas UK to pioneer a new concept in preventative medicine at their UK headquarters in Stockport.

'Know Your Numbers' provides the starting point for executives to understand the implications of their lifestyle choices and how they impact on their personal health. The campaign is designed to improve the executive's awareness of their own lifestyle, and in particular how to manage the risks associated with heart disease and cancer.

One member described Dr Dugmore's session as 'probably the most important I will ever have as a member of The Academy for Chief Executives'.

We will then run a short "Members' Session" which will illustrate how the Academy helps its members discuss and resolve their short and long-term business and personal "issues".

Outcomes:
You will leave the breakfast at 10.30am with some great learning, some new network contacts, knowing how a typical monthly Academy meeting works, an understanding of the different membership packages and an insight into how the Academy could help you during the months and years ahead.
