So if a leader wants to be world class this year my advice would be to loosen the control strings, to take a backward step and know that you don’t have to be that person that solves every problem, you can be that person that asks for help. ¬†You can be the person that crowd-sources solutions from the intellectual capital in front of you and actually, by taking that backward step, you free up your time to think strategically, do some more motivating, and actually the team can cope without you in the event that you have to leave for whatever reason.
