You'd get a taste of what life is like being an Academy MEMBER. Our morning session begins with expert speaker Michael Trigg on ‘Rise to the Occasion - A Masterclass in Presenting’. Overview: We live in an unfair world. Ideally, the best people should win...the most qualified, the most experienced, the better product....but they rarely do. Because it is often the way something is presented that creates a winning edge. Most senior people can stand in front of a group and talk to a deck of slides. But few have a crystal clear message. Fewer still can connect well in the first 60 seconds and then keep attention and engagement all the way through. That's what this workshop is all about. What we'll cover:

  • The Do's and Avoids of Delivery.
  • Tips to enhance your authority and presence - and Traps that diminish it.
  • How to keep people interested and engaged from start to finish.
  • Impromptu speaking.
  • A bomb proof structure that works in every context.
This will be an interactive session, with plenty of time for Q&A. Please bring your smartphone with at least 2gb of memory - as you will be using it! After a delicious 2 course lunch the afternoon is filled with a peer group board session. To experience the peer group first-hand and what it delivers, attendees come along with a genuine business challenge and see how a variety of opinions, experiences and different perspectives can really impact on your decision making, direction and growth.
